The only thing that wasn’t gnarled, was the photographer

Stories have a unique kind of magic. They will choose a writer to champion them, to carry them ever closer to this world with every pen-stroke, until they are immortalised within the hearts and minds of all who read them.

M. A. Howland

BIO

M. A. Howland is a rising fantasy author who lives in Warwickshire, UK, home to the great William Shakespeare and Mary Anne Evans.

Originally studying at university for a Business Degree, Mark left prematurely at a tender age to join the military and seek out his adventure. After five years of frustrating his commanding officers with his philosophical outlook, it was mutually agreed he should leave and pursue something of a more independent nature, other than just following orders. So he became married and now lives happily with his wife, four little inspirations, and an insane shorkie, still following orders…

The author is regularly active in the conservation of woodland and wildlife. He is studying a part-time degree in English Literature/Creative Writing and also studying for a Bardship with OBOD (Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids), due to a lifelong fascination of Druidry and ancient folklore, which by his own admission, provides plenty of inspiration for his writing.
