“I hope your curiosity compels you to read my work, you will not be disappointed. However, in the unlikely event you are dissatisfied, you must take your grievances to the city court to determine your rights for a full refund. I must make it clear, that it will be the Goblin city courts, therefore you will need to find a suitable portal to cross worlds. Then you will need to contact a sorcerer of reasonable repute, who is willing to transmogrify you into a Goblin. You can try your luck wearing a human appearance, but it is highly unlikely you will progress very far, depending largely upon how hungry or antsy the local residents are.”

Fingle’s Trial

Fingle’s Trial

The book begins with a Goblin named Fingle Froglick, who awaits trial for high treason in a Goblin court of law: no Goblin in the whole of Goblindom would dare risk defending Fingle, so his best friend Clump, and uncle Merlock cross worlds to planet Earth, and kidnap Robin Swindlar—a failed law student—from his home in Chipping Norton to help them.

It soon becomes apparent to Rob that he is not quite who he thinks he is, and that destiny has a great deal more in store, than riding disrobed upon a checkout conveyor belt. In a race to save Fingle, an insidious plot forged by the shadow Goblin government is uncovered. The unlikely alliance soon realise that only they can save Earth and the Faerie Kingdom from impending disaster. Rob’s constant fear of failure augments his courage, while his sanity is tested to its utmost limits!

A reunion with a mother he believed died during his birth, a shocking disclosure about a father he thought he knew, and winning the heart of a seven hundred year old girl who smells of fish. Brothers are brought together on the brink of battle and who is to say a Goblin half-breed cannot find love with a mountain Troll? The epic journey is one of self-discovery. Rob has been given the chance to begin anew and in doing so, confronts his crippling self-doubt to become a hero. During their adventures, the brave company all experience a startling revelation, that Humans and Goblins have considerably more in common than they ever dared to imagine…

Current writing projects:

After the recent success of Saving Snow, it seemed only just to create a tale a little more…well, silly. Ghost Gifts centres around a recently deceased relative and two very much alive young brothers.

Arthur had been stupendously successful in avoiding all the dangers that existed outside of his own front door. I suppose you could say he led a sheltered life; safely tucked away from the rest of the noisy world. But that’s the way he liked it. If you bumped into him he would tell you just how dangerous the world really was; but you would have to be inside his house to bump into him.

GHOST GIFTS

Regrettably, Arthur meets his maker in the most ridiculous, unforeseen manner. Thus begins a tale of triumph over death and the forging of a lost family relationship between two young brothers and their ghostly relative. However, the children unwittingly create havoc in the upper levels of Heaven and have the WOT (Welcoming Over Team) in an administrative nightmare.

Will Mr. B. Goode be able to deliver his new intake of Angels before Mr. Meanor opens yet another casino and pizza parlour in Heaven? Can Wyatt and Byron stop the chaos before poor Arthur is forced to reincarnate back into a dangerous world? Will Mrs. Pry be able to un-see the unthinkable and continue giving away her rhubarb?
